The Reds have a late start to the season, kicking off on Sept. 13 rather than the 6th, and first up will be the form team in the latter part of last season, Chellaston. The 'Sox' will already have had a 'warm up' fixture under their belt against last season's league champs Stapenhill, and will provide a good test in our first game.
Recent friendlies and the training that I've seen have looked very promising, as the lads get to grips with 9 a side, bigger pitches and the delights of the offside law. And there's a great atmosphere amongst the squad who get on very well and encourage each other.
