Midway and Shoulder Part II provided the same teams at the same venue but this time without the gale force winds from the previous week.

This time though it was Midway who had the better early chances with both Davies and Wood seeing chances to lob the keeper pass by. With L.Meade in an attacking midfield position he produced an energetic performance but couldn't convert. Shoulder put their handbags down for a minute though to take their chance from a corner to take the lead.

1-0 down at half time saw Leyland on for Davies and Noon moved to outfield and with a strong defensive performance once again from Jackson, Walker, Warriner and Boam Barton were limited to few chances.

Squires and W.Meade both saw opportunities pass by but then when Wood was bundled down clearly in the box a penalty was awarded. This decision saw the return of a number of handbags from Barton but Boam blanked these out to level the scores.

Within minutes of the restart Grummett, on for Saunders, unmarked in the box saw his header with the keeper beaten go over the bar from close range.

With Unwin nursing a grazed knee on the side, Veasey absent looking for his dummy and Salihovic nursing a sore head after celebrating the birth of his baby boy it was the return of Edmond, on for Wood, for the final throw of the dice but the winner wasn't to come.

With time running out Shoulder's number 15 continued to whine even when decisions were given his way but in the end the points were shared.

This week sees the teams last non competitive midweek schedule before a schedule that will see games coming thick and fast.
